Is your marketing failing to generate responses?

In this article, we will cover the most common problems business owners face in advertising and actionable steps to solve them once and for all.

Most marketing today is boring, it loses the attention of the reader long before they get to the end.

If they do manage to fight their way through it, they are left dazed and confused and a confused customer always does the worst thing possible, NOTHING…

Without a clearly defined point,  your perfect customer has no idea what you are asking them to do, so they keep scrolling.

Passive language is the killer of attention in writing and everyday conversation.

Anything that doesn't get to the point immediately becomes boring.

You probably have experienced it yourself.

There is always that one person in every group who just loves to talk for the sake of hearing his own voice. He just goes on and on without ever getting anywhere near the vicinity of a point.

Deep down you realize if he was not standing right in front of you, there is no way you would keep listening.

If the story were written you wouldn't make it past the first sentence, It never pulls you in, compelling you to read further.

In sales and advertising, this is known as WAFFLING and is the number one killer of attention.

You'll never capture the attention of your ideal customer if you continue to inundate them with dull, uninspiring content. It's crucial to get them engaged with relevant messaging that speaks directly to them.

Ok so now that we understand the issue, how do we solve it?

It's time to get to the point….

Have you ever heard the saying, "I don't want to hear about the labor pains; just show me the baby"?

Of course, you have; it's a phrase that everyone has heard or used at some point.

The meaning is to state the point clearly and upfront, stop using all the words when a few will do just fine.

After you have written your message read it out loud. If it doesn't flow and you could remove certain words or even entire sentences without losing the point of the message, remove them.

This will kill waffling for good.
