The Most Important Words In Any Ad

Whether you are meeting someone for the first time or writing an Ad, the first impression is the most important part. Your first impression gets you in the door, without it, you will never have the opportunity to prove to them you actually know what you are doing or explain your idea.

In A job interview, your first impression is being dressed nicely and having a confident polite attitude. When you are running an Ad,  that first impression is your headline. And just like your image, the headline gets you in the door, it stops their scrolling…

Are You Turning Clients Away

Most businesses waste ungodly amounts of cash running Ads with horrible headlines. Horrible headlines are like showing up to a job interview wearing a dirty white T-shirt. You are finished before you even have a chance to speak a single word.

If you cannot stop someone from scrolling, it does not matter what the rest of the Ad looks like or what value you are offering, you could have a magic wand that instantly solves all their problems and they will never know, because they never got past that dirty white shirt.

Pulling Them In

The headline should stand on its own, grab the readers' attention, and pull them in, almost forcing them to read the rest.

It is like yelling their name in a crowded room, you get their attention by speaking directly to them. Your headline should tell the reader something they need to know or are interested in.

Tell them how you can solve their problems or provide them value and they will listen.
