Facebook has 1.56 billion active users a day. That’s nearly 5X the population of the United States, and 20% of the world population.
At no point in history, have we been able to reach that many people with the click of a button.
It’s not only the staggering number of people but the amount of our attention Facebook owns. Globally, the average user spends almost an hour per day on Facebook, that's about 7% of our waking hours are spent with our eyes glued to the screen.
Using laser-guided targeting
What sets Meta Ads apart is its incredibly detailed targeting options. You can create custom audiences based on users’ interests, behaviors, and even their location.
In the old days if you wanted to advertise a product you had to print off flyers or take an Ad out in the paper or radio station.
All of those were great but you could not choose who saw the Ad, without detailed targeting, you are simply throwing money away.
BUT What about using BOOST
A lot of businesses try using Boost because it is simple to use, but you are missing out on some great tools not using the full META suite. With the Ad suite, you will have more options, more targeting, and the best part, more results.
Boost is kind of like traditional advertising, it shows your Ad to everyone. No targeting whatsoever, and again you are throwing money away.
OK, So How Do You Target The Right Audience
Targeting the right audience is just like getting someone's attention in a crowd, you yell their name.
Now obviously, you cannot literally yell their name with an Ad, but you can do the next best thing. You can write Ads that speak directly to that type of person, use words or thoughts already in that person's mind. Write as if they were sitting next to you having a conversation about them and their problems.
Doing the research for this kind of marketing is a lot of extra work upfront, but I promise it is worth it in the long run.
